Blogs nowadays come in different styles and appearances. But as a new blogger, it's very important you know the basic elements that makes-up a basic blog structure.
No matter how the blog is designed or structured, it must have these 4 elements. So in this blog post I will show you these elements plus the detailed explanation for each.

NO.1: THE HEADER
The Header helps your site visitors understand what your website is about and easily navigate through.
It can also include links to your social platforms, a search bar, and a slider like our own blog.
When designing the Header part of your blog always make it simple, elegant, and easy to navigate. And, if you are using Blogger there are few things you need to customize to make your Header stand out.
1. Header logo
You need to add a nice Header logo to your Blogger blog.
2. Social Links
By default, your Blogger blog will contain links of the template you downloaded and install on your blog. You need to customize those links and add your own.
3. Navigation links
You also need to insert the right links to different pages in your blog for easy navigation.
Remember, it's what your visitors will see first and first impression matters.
NO.2: THE SIDEBAR
The sidebar generally includes things like recent posts, subscription form, widgets, blog archive, social buttons, links, banners, author's profile etc to name a few.
It is located by the side of your website either left or right. Although some blogs might not have a sidebar, yet it is important because it helps your readers immediately access some important part of your blog.
NO.3: THE BODY
The body is the area where your blog posts will appear and that's why it's called THE CONTENT AREA.
It is the main reason why people are visiting your blog. To read your content. And that's why you need to invest time and resources to create quality eye catchy content.
It includes both your blog post and blog pages.
The contents on your blog should be created with your audience in mind. Make it simple and readable. Use catchy titles, images and write quality posts. Doing this will boost your blog and improve your ranking.
NO.4: THE FOOTER
The Footer is found at the bottom of your blog. It displays contents that are not constantly updated but you want your visitors to see.
It cound contain links to important pages like the about me, contact me and homepage.
Each element of your blog structure or layout is important and should not be neglected while creating and customizing your blog.
